Panic is the envelope with no return address
containing little pieces of your cerebrum
arranged like petals in a drought.
It is your pseudo-desparation to assure the universe
of your capacity to
laugh.
It is your last message to the people most likely
to fizzle into sanity and light;
shatter the fourth dimension and build a habit
there.
It is your smile cut-and-pasted into a thousand
family photographs
planted in the core of your beliefs.

And you are collapsing
gradually.
Grey-scale fears faltering under the microscope of our
imaginings.

the window shows me trees and night
silence, birds, and houses
the stillness of morning and the promise of reality
but my box shows me beauty and words
dark and light, good things, bad things,
fantasy and moving pictures, even music
I guess for now, my box is enough.

Saturday morning
with my dad
nostalgic day
makes me cry.

dash upon my brows a-blunder
and make seem all to secure and under fire.
Aspire I, to the highest title described
within the realm of impossible singing choir; to undo
the strings of things believed
and enthrall those who are compelled and who saw
the things which hither are assumed
unnamed
and not fooled

To sad is the state of one whose hearts alone
deep down in the deepest bog
of insanity and crutch the devils hand while
singing along in a band or a choir whose God is above all higher than the highest high beyond the comprehension of the feeblest minds
whose time has not yet arrived within t

Coils in the air like a snake,
Grasping at the sky pulsating
Grayish color in its wake.

Tall buildings suffocating
Uniformed workers in search for
The nearest subway train,
Emotion stuffed amidst bodies rushing.

Beady eyes scan surrounding terrain,
Sweat rolls down open pores,
Warm breath stains cool air
As bodies litter the sidewalk stains.

Sly glances shared reveal the wear
The metal tombs have exacted
On the soul of the unwilling,
How will they offer any care?

Metal compresses against metal,
Love and hate are merged in one,
Dark smoke coils in the air
Blotting out the unseen city.

Before The End Of The Worldthe halfed decayed newspaper said it all
we'd be englufed in fire
our sweet little world would fall
I found it in a gutter
as I made the walk to his door
he'd said we'd spend our last moments together
and every bit after that
if there was truly anything more
after the end of the world

he pulled out his lighter
and watched the flame flicker
his burning eyes turned on me
"is this really how you want to go?"
charred with the mass
no time for a final gasp
and this world around you is reduced to ash?

I shook my head
"i'll take my fate as is"
if you promise to hold my hand
we won't face it alone

i want you like no one else shouldi want you.
and those words purge
from my lips
like fluorescent moonbeams.

swollen eyes
are darker than they seem
and something was different
in the way you
looked
at me.

it's been a year or so
but the hymns of the air
conditioner
are painless.

and my tank top
is hinging onto your
collar bones
but i don't know
if the melody is on
key.

and ash is spilling
from your lips
even though your
mother
told you smoking is
a breeding ground for
cancer.

will your skeleton hands
smoke me?

Love Like PoisonAll the stress is pulling me under, tie me up and throw me in. I want to drown in you, I want to leak into your flesh and get under your skin. You have the perfect body for infection, I want to make it my home. Mark me with your deadly bite, your violent kiss, toxin dripping from your lips. The disease is slowly spreading through your heart and lungs, stinging and eating away at your brain, but deep down, you know you like it that way. Let the sickness devour you, swallow you whole. Your body is mine, your blood is mine, your heart and mind and soul are mine. I can rip you apart so beautifully, wouldn't you like to see?

Just 5 minutesWe have become so dependent
Constantly checking for new messages
Or texts, or calls
We log onto our social networks
just know what others are doing
or saying to us

You don't know what's going on anymore
There's a war raging outside your door
Matching the one raging inside you
And between the two of them, there's nowhere left to go
You're drowning

Drowning in your heartache
Wondering where it went wrong, or
When it got this bad
You can't remember, you can't remember when you started to lose yourself
When the smiles turned into frowns
When you went from full to empty—
And it hurts, you're sore and you're tired,
So, so tired of the shit you live with
So tired of living in general
You're drowning

It's a lonely night every night
And you're alone because you have to be
Because it's not like there's going to be someone there
To hug you while you cry
To comfort you as you lose yourself
As you lose the last bits of whatever kept you together
